Our Attorneys
Attorney J. Kenneth Griffin, a principal attorney in the firm, graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1971. Ken is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that same year. Mr. Griffin is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Additionally, Ken is the author of several published works used for continuing legal education. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Attorney Joanne L. Goulka, a principal attorney in the firm, graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1974 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that year. Joanne is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit and is approved as an arbitrator by the Superior Court. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Associationand the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Attorney Joseph P. Evans, a senior associate, graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1988 and was admitted to practice in Massachusetts that same year. Joe is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Joe was an associate attorney at Meizler & Benowitz in Boston prior to joining Griffin & Goulka. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
Attorney Amy Magher, an associate, graduated from Suffolk University Law School in May of 2005. Amy was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in December of 2005 and joined GRIFFIN & GOULKA LLC shortly thereafter. Amy is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
